Alison Saar: Recipes for Trouble is a recipe book that pairs a selection of Saar's collected recipes with images of artworks from her series "Chaos in the Kitchen." Song pairings for each recipe are suggested for those (like us), who need music to cook/conjure in the kitchen. Recipes include Good Money Greens, Hoppin' John, Black Skillet Cornbread, Aunt Jai's Gumbo and "Put your foot in it" Sweet Potato Pie.
